CNN.com - Road rage inspires singer's troop tribute - Dec 14, 2004

I'm not a big country music fan but this was interesting for the way the popularity spread.

If I were a record company exec, I would be much more concerned about this story that a million people file-swapping online.

The whole argument that a big part of the cost of a CD is marketing seems to fall apart in the face of a story like this.
