Similar to the GDC game developers challenge (although without the competition) students from the Champlain college game designer program were give 52 hours to create two learning games. One is to teach about next gen workers and the other is designed to teach about how to keep your family safe during a pandemic.

I spent time talking with their lead faculty member and was very impressed with the dedication of these students. The most difficult problem was actually getting the students to stop programming and get some sleep - note to self: add to applicant pool....
